Professor Christa Laser is an intellectual property law scholar, speaker, and teacher and an experienced litigator focusing on issues including patent law, federal courts, and technology law (including artificial intelligence and the law). Before becoming a professor, she practiced at the law firms Kirkland & Ellis LLP and WilmerHale in intellectual property litigation and strategy consulting. She represented leading life sciences and technology companies in all stages of trial and appellate matters and consulted on legislative and regulatory changes to intellectual property laws.
