The majority of marketing teams say they have experimented with AI, but very few have broken through the pilot phase to truly transform the way they operate with AI. Why are so many of us stuck in experimentation land? This talk will address the s-curve style path in adoption that companies take when they start to use generative AI seriously. It will cover three important phases:

1. Individual acceleration
2. Team acceleration
3. Business acceleration

Each stage comes with its own learning curve and its own set of benefits but often teams stall out in the first stage because a) they think they've reached the pinnacle of what AI can do for their needs and b) moving to the next stage requires not only a vision for it but also a change in how you operate as a team or business.

Increasingly, we are finding that the learning curve with this powerful advancement is not a technical one, but rather cultural and strategic.

Jessica Hreha

Jessica Hreha’s 20-year career is marked by her drive to challenge status quo and get epic sh*t done. As Head of Marketing AI Strategy and Transformation at Jasper, Hreha engages directly with clients to collaborate on developing and expanding Generative AI initiatives. Her focus is on fostering AI literacy and responsible adoption within marketing teams by identifying, building, and scaling use cases and programs. In early 2023 as Head of Global Demand Content Strategy at VMware, Hreha had the privilege of founding VMware’s Marketing AI Council, a cross-functional team dedicated to educating and empowering marketers to use Generative AI tools responsibly and effectively, ultimately scaling responsible AI literacy and adoption to over 750 global marketers. Hreha is proof that anyone, at any level, within an organization can step up and spark widespread change and transformation within an organization. Her mission is to champion other marketers to take action in this new AI era–it’s a wide open leadership opportunity for any career level to become an agent of action and change.
