Irene Solaiman

Irene Solaiman is an AI research, policy, and strategy expert and Chief Policy Officer at Hugging Face, a popular community-oriented company and platform for AI builders, where she leads research and policy teams and develops and operationalizes company strategy. She serves on the Partnership on AI's Policy Steering Committee and the Center for Democracy and Technology's AI Governance Lab Advisory Committee. Solaiman also advises responsible AI initiatives at OECD and IEEE. She is a foremost expert in AI releases in the open and closed source landscape, and her research includes AI value alignment, social impact, and combating misuse and malicious use.
